Christmas meaning

Luke 1:39-45
In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. 28 Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you![d]”

Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel[e] forever; his Kingdom will never end!”

Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”

The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.[f]”

Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.

I read this part of the Christmas story and think about how it be like if an angel came to me and told me this.Would I replied like Mary or said no way Jose?I tend to wonder how Mary was feeling.God has this planned out for her which reassures me that he has a plan for me also.Even if I don't see it God knows exactly what he is doing. When God calls you to do something what do you say? Is your response the same as Mary's or different?
Luke 2:1-7
At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him Mary, his fiancée, who was now obviously pregnant.

And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.

God choose to have his song born in a manger.I love this thought.Also he choose ordinary people to raise Christ.God chooses ordinary people for great things.Like mission work or Christian service.God uses anyone willing.I know I feel pretty ordinary myself.Anyone can do extraordinary things for God.So this Christmas when you are unwrapping gifts,eating or doing whatever else don't forget about Christ and how you can serve others.

Update

I will be starting school next semester so I am expecting my blog to kinda shift along with my new life.I can't wait to live on campus.Meeting new people..doing new things. Exciting.I am majoring in Behavioral Health and maybe majoring in Biblical Studies.

Confusing and scared there is a decision made with this choice a child has to pay
She puts it's life in her hands, and then she destroys it's only chance to become someone in life
You should of thought aboutthe baby before you had sex, because you have destroyed a gift from God

Never will this baby be able to grow up or show it's love

God does not give you the privilege to carry a child for nothing

How innocent a baby is... how can you put it to death?

Babies die everyday because of a pro choice made
Helpless and innocent they are put to death
Then why did the parents choose to plant a seed and then destroy it?
Pray for the people who are killing the kids of tomorrow
How desperately they need Jesus Christ in there hearts
So they take your life because your a burden in their hands

Well yesterday I went to my fourth concert this week.
It was Downcast Fable(2 shows in Scottsdale)MGF(My Girl Friday)and Fireflight with Abandon and Remedy Drive.

I feel bad for those who don't think that music makes a total difference in your life.It really does and is important to have.Good music with clean lyrics go into your mind and give a positive thing back.While songs with bad lyrics are just clouding your mind and even your heart.Jesus said what is in the heart will come out.So I totally believe music makes me who I am.Its my release and I can show my feelings using music. About to go to a concert tonight and am totally excited.Have a great evening or whatever.

Beauty's eyes written May 2008

The world tries to convice me of these lies
When would I ever come to realize where beauty is found
The world just brings this beauty thing down to the ground
Its in beauty's eyes where find our true beauty
No more having to fulfill a dream of being pretty.
True beauty is found in something not so fake.
Something,someone who can show us the real take.
In beauty's eyes I see more on whats on the inside

Dwendling thoughts

So these past two days I went to shows.One free and the other one not.Saturday I tried to not stand so much since I have a bad knee that hurts.And then I sat down most of the concert yesterday.I saw Uprise perform again.Last time I saw them it was at CCV. Anyways I am trying to come up with some creative stuff.So far the only creative side of me is photography.Hopefully I will have poetry written soon.

The days past

So yesterday I hiked a mountain.When we got close to the top I was sad to see the smog over where I live and the central areas of the state.We breathe that air.Nasty! I went to Arabia's and told the waiter he charged us 3 dollars for guacamole and needs to warn people next time about the charge.The waiter got really angry with me. I am going to a concert tonight.I may or may not blog about it.It all depends because the concert Sunday at the Phix sucked.

Concerts!

So this week was what I call concert madness.Thursday it started out with a pretty rocking concert.I got water sprayed at me and a guy named James from I-Rival stole my glasses.Family Force Five rocked the whole stage.Friday was David Crowder.The music was really good.They played all my favorite church songs.Then Sunday was the worst concert ever.Two out of seven bands were good and one was okay.I thought they were gonna torture me.My ears pretty much bled.I really should start writing poems.To bad being inspired is really difficult!

Since tomorrow is the Family Force 5 concert I decided to put a video up of them tonight! I will be wearing my FF5 tee! I can say I have wanted to see them for three years.

First post

Well it's my first post on here.Everyone else seems to be blogging and I thought it be cool to make one personal blog and one I can kinda abandon a bit.I did an 8 mile hike Sunday.It was challenging and I was not sure if I was gonna make it out alive but I did.At the end of the trail I decided to run and totally beefed it.I fell so hard on the ground I could not breath.Megan was just laughing at me.I have bruises,scrapes and cuts which are always fun.Anyways much more excitement to come in the month of October!
